An open-frame generator drowns out a conversation at ten paces. A canopied "silent" set runs at a fraction of the noise, so it can sit closer to the action without a wall of engine roar behind the DJ or the officiant.
DIESEL RUNS LONGER, SAFER
Diesel is less volatile than petrol and burns slower under load — a full tank carries an all-night event, and it's the same fuel every truck and taxi in Jamaica already runs on.
110V AND 220V ON ONE PANEL
Both outlet types on the control panel: 110V for sound, lights, blenders and phone charging; 220V for fridges, freezers and the bigger cooling units. No adapters, no guessing.
50 HZ, LIKE THE GRID
Jamaican mains is 50Hz — so are our sets. Motors, compressors and audio gear run at the speed they were built for instead of straining on the wrong frequency.
RENTAL TIPS
Rent by the period that fits. A one-night fete is a Day rental. Friday setup to Sunday breakdown is the Weekend rate (Fri–Sun) — cheaper than three days. A vendor season or a JPS outage is a Week or a Month.
Give it flat ground and open air. Place the set on level ground, outdoors, exhaust pointed away from guests and tents. Never inside a room or under a closed marquee.
Size for the surge, not the label. Fridges, freezers and fans draw two to three times their running watts for a second at startup. Add up your gear and leave headroom — our sizing guide walks through it.
One order, one truck. Add the generator to the same order as your event ice, ice coolers, fans, tables and chairs. Delivery is free when the order has qualifying ice or a cooler.
